About Game

British Runner Is  a Fast paced, Action packed interactive 2d endless-runner where you play as a Wealthy British Person 🧐, trudging through the poor streets of the British grasslands. Your goal is to dodge those Pesky Peasants and Dreaded American Flags 🏈. Collecting Tea to maintain your Health while dodging those peasants, if your too slow? Well, Throw your Tea at those flags and peasants that stand in your way,  destroying them in an instant! 

Having a Classic British Soundtrack and Breathtaking pristine Pixel Art. British runner makes You feel like a True British man. The Longer you run, the faster the pace! Truly testing your peasant dodging and flag burning skills!

How can I install the game?

  1.  Make sure you have Python 3.8+ installed. If not, download it here: 🔗 Python Official Download During installation, check the box that says "Add Python to PATH" ✅ After installing Python, open your computer terminal (Command Prompt for Windows, Terminal for macOS and Linux) and type "python --version" to check if Python is properly installed. You should see the installed Python version displayed.
  2. In your terminal (Command Prompt, PowerShell, or Terminal), run:
    "pip install pgzero"
    This installs:       
    pgzrun (from pgzero) – A framework used to make the game                                        pygame – Specifically for certain functions      
  3. Running the Game
    (make sure to extracted the game zip file before following further instructions)
    To run British Runner, follow these steps based on your operating system:

 Windows

  1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the game folder.
  2. Hold Shift and Right-Click inside the folder → Select "Open PowerShell window here" (or "Open Command Prompt here" if using an older version).
  3. Type the following command and press Enter: pgzrun game.py

 macOS &  Linux

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Use the cd command to navigate to the game’s directory. Example: /Downloads/BritishRunner (Modify the path based on where you saved the game.)
  3. Run the game with: pgzrun game.py
